Japanese automakers have updated comprehensive production data for fiscal 2021, which ended in March last year.

Accordingly, the total domestic production of 8 producers in the fiscal year 2021 decreased by 6.8 percent to 7 million 93 thousand 641.

It was reported that the decrease was due to supply chain problems and factory closures caused by Kovid-19.

Mitsubishi has increased
Among manufacturers, only Mitsubishi achieved an increase in domestic production in the same period compared to the previous fiscal year.

Honda produced 634 thousand 468 vehicles, down 7.7 percent. This number was recorded as the lowest production rate in the last 20 years of the company's history.

In Nissan, which produced 445 thousand 836 vehicles with a decrease of 13.8%, the sharpest decrease in the company's history was recorded.

The global production of 8 Japanese companies in the same period decreased by 0.6 percent compared to the previous financial year and was recorded as 23 million 216 thousand 774.

Mazda, Nissan and Subaru saw double-digit declines in global production compared to the previous fiscal year.

Honda's global production fell 8 percent.

On the other hand, Mitsubishi and mini-vehicle manufacturers Daihatsu and Suzuki also increased.
