ISO 500 announced! Here are Turkiye's top 100 iron and steel companies

The Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) announced today the results of the 'Turkiye's Top 500 Industrial Enterprises (ISO 500)' survey for 2022. Accordingly, many companies from iron and steel giants took place in the top 100.

Ereğli Demir Çelik, one of the leading companies in the iron and steel industry, ranked seventh in the ISO 500 ranking with production sales of 36.7 billion TL in 2021, and increased to the second place in 2022 and ranked fifth with net production sales of 69.4 billion.

Iskenderun Demir Çelik, which ranked fifth last year, decreased to sixth place in 2022 with net production sales of 66.9 billion TL.

İçdaş Çelik Enerji Tersane ve Ulaşım Sanayi A.Ş., which ranked eleventh last year, decreased to twelfth place in 2022 with net sales from production of 52.4 billion TL this year.

Çolakoğlu Metalurji, which ranked twelfth in 2021 with net sales from production of 25.4 billion TL, decreased to thirteenth place in 2022 with net sales from production of 46.9 billion TL.

Tosçelik ranked fourteenth in 2021 with net sales from production of 20.5 billion TL. In 2022, it decreased three places to seventeenth place with net production sales of 40.1 billion TL.

Tüpraş ranked first in the ISO 500, reaching a total net production-based sales figure of 418.4 billion TL in 2022.

Azerbaijan's state-owned Star Refinery increased to the second place with net sales from production of 189.2 billion TL. The company ranked third in 2021 and sixth in 2020.

Ford Otomotiv, which, like TÜPRAŞ, is owned by Koç Holding, ranked third with net sales from production of 140.1 billion TL. The company ranked second last year.

Istanbul Gold Refinery, which hid its name in previous years but was known to be ranked sixth, increased to the fourth place in 2022 with net sales from production of 87.8 billion TL.
