İskenderun Demir ve Çelik A.Ş. (İSDEMİR) is planning to build a 130 MW Solar Power Plant in Çorum to generate electricity for its facility in Hatay. The facility, which was previously planned to be built within the borders of Dereköy village, is planned to be relocated due to force majeure. According to the new plans, the 130 MW İsdemir Çorum Alaca Solar Power Plant will be built within the borders of Perçem village in Alaca district. A total investment of TL 4.5 billion is envisaged in the project and approximately 310,905 panels will be used. The power plant aims to generate more than 280 million Kwh of electricity per year, which will be used to generate electricity to supply the needs of İsdemir's Hatay facility.
