Notable increasing countries include 2194% Portugal, 501% Italy, 314% Spain, 116% United Kingdom and 100% Romania. The record increases in these countries were reported as an indicator that, in September, ADMIB exports gained strong momentum.
Fuat Tosyalı, President of the Mediterranean Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters' Association (ADMIB), stated that the successful exports continue with the orders received with European demand. ” Especially the orders we received from the European market and additional demands from African countries also accelerated the recovery process in iron and steel exports. We believe that we will perform successfully in the last quarter of the year with the momentum we have gained. With the positive energy we receive, we will strive to match 2021, a year filled with records, next year."
