SteelRadar gathered data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) and reported that Türkiye's billet and bloom imports decreased by 56.44% in October compared to the same month of the previous year, but increased by 14.23% on a monthly basis to 103,715 tons.
Annual imports of billet and bloom, which were 1,990,137 tons in the January-October period of last year, increased by 33.31% to 2,653,148 tons in the same period of this year.
Last year, the highest imports were realized in June, and the lowest imports were recorded in February. This year, the highest imports were recorded in April, while the lowest imports were recorded in September.
