PJSC Zaporozhkoks, one of Ukraine's leading metallurgical coke producers, reported a 2% increase in blast furnace coke production in January-June 2024 compared to the same period in 2023. In the first half of 2024, the company achieved a significant success, producing 426.76 thousand tonnes of blast furnace coke.
In the second quarter of this year, production was 220.45 thousand tonnes, up 2.7% compared to the first quarter, when 214.8 thousand tonnes were produced. At the same time, 215.5 thousand tonnes were produced in April-June 2023 and 211.3 thousand tonnes in January-March.
In June 2024, Zaporizhkoks produced 72.6 thousand tonnes of coke, up 2.1% compared to June 2023, but down 4.1% compared to May 2024.
