Yeo Technology announced to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that it has entered into a USD 66 million USD plus VAT agreement with Yazıcı Demir Çelik for a turnkey solar power plant installation, including project development. According to the agreement, a range of services will be provided, from securing the land to preparing the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report, obtaining construction permits, and building the solar power plant.
The statement regarding the matter is as follows:
"Our company and Yazıcı Demir Çelik, one of Türkiye's leading steel producers, have signed a contract for USD 66,000,000+VAT for turnkey solar power plant installation services, including project development, under Article 5.1.h of the Unlicensed Electricity Production Regulation.
The services to be provided under the contract include: locating the land where the facilities will be built, obtaining usage rights, obtaining call letters, preparing EIA reports, monitoring zoning processes, obtaining construction permits, obtaining permits and licenses, constructing the solar power plant, and constructing the high-voltage substation and energy transmission lines.
By contributing to the decarbonization strategy of stakeholders in the steel sector in line with the European Union's carbon neutrality policies, we will contribute to our client's carbon targets through these projects.
Our company will continue to provide value-added solutions with end-to-end services, including project development processes for access to the right projects, in addition to engineering, procurement, and construction services."
