Yartsevsky Metzavod plant opens new cold rolled steel production line

Yartsevsky Metzavod plans to open a new line for the production of cold-rolled steel, which will produce up to 250 thousand tonnes of products per year. To procure the necessary equipment, the possibilities of obtaining a favourable loan from the Industrial Development Fund, as well as a special investment contract, are being considered.

It should be recalled that in early June the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) finalised an agreement on the sale of the enterprise to a third-party investor. According to the company's statement, it was decided to focus on the main activity of the company - the production and sale of pipe products. According to the documents, the current owner of the plant is OOO Frunze, which is part of the MetalService group of companies. MetalService works with more than 50 manufacturers of rolled metal products and has its own production facilities with a capacity of more than 800,000 tonnes of steel products per year.

Yartsevsky Metzavod is a modern foundry and rolling complex producing long products with a capacity of more than 300,000 tonnes per year. The main products are continuous cast billets for rebar and rolling.
