According to the information obtained by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data, Türkiye's wind turbine exports decreased by 52.5% in October 2023 compared to the same month of the previous year and by 69.8% compared to the previous month, decreasing to 5.48 tons.
When we look at the total export figure for the January-October period, wind turbine exports, which were 76,803 tons in the 10-month period of last year, increased by 279% from 76,803 tons to 291.84 tons in the same period this year.
257% increase in 10 months
While the October wind turbine import figure increased by 2190% compared to the same month of the previous year, it decreased by 50.9% compared to the previous month.
The total import figure for the January-October period increased by 257% compared to the same period last year, rising from 9,936 tons to 35,502.
