Vertra Demir Çelik, which invests in the iron and steel sector, announced that it will start production of weldless drawn pipes in Adana Ceyhan in June 2024.
The company's construction of 20,000 m2 closed area on a 42,529.58 m2 land in Ceyhan Organised Industrial Zone in 2021 includes a total investment of 120 million dollars. After this major investment, the company aims to increase domestic production by reducing Türkiye's imports in this field.
Vertra Demir Çelik's decision to switch to weldless drawn pipe production aims to increase its competitiveness in the sector. With this new production line, which will start in June 2024, it aims to contribute to the strengthening of domestic production by reducing Türkiye's dependence on imports of steel products.
