VAS Group: Leader in green steel production

VAS Group strengthens its commitment to environmentally friendly production with transparent EPD certificate in 2024.

VAS Group: Leader in green steel production

Established in 1998, VAS Group is a modern steel production system with an annual capacity of 4.35 million tons of square billets and 2.5 million tons of construction steel. Its products are manufactured in accordance with Vietnamese and international standards (QCVN:2011/BKHCN, TCVN, JIS, ASTM).

In order to minimise environmental impacts, VAS transparently announced the life cycle assessment of its products in 2024. As one of only two steel plants in Vietnam to receive EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) certification, CO2 emissions remain below 750 kg/ton. In this way, VAS has strengthened its position as a leading green steel producer in Vietnam.

The company aims to be the leader of the ‘Green and Clean’ revolution with sustainable technological solutions and continues its environmentally friendly production journey by investing heavily in waste treatment processes. In addition to its domestic scrap collection activities, VAS aims to reduce the amount of harmful waste by expanding its efforts in this field at the international level.

Increasing its competitive advantage in the supply chain with the establishment of Nghi Son International Port, VAS stands out in steel billet and rolling production with modern production lines from Danieli, Italy. VAS's steel products are recognised and appreciated for their high quality thanks to their compliance with international standards.
