On August 9, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) voted for the final decision of the second review on nails imported from the UAE. It was decided keep the anti-dumping measure, as the cancellation of the current anti-dumping measure may lead to the continuation or repetition of material damage to the domestic industry. There were five commissioners who voted affirmatively.
First, an AD investigation was launched on steel nails from USITC, UAE, on April 27, 2011. It gave its final decision on March 23, 2012, and the final decision of the second accelerated review on December 29, 2022.
