In a recent development, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) has revised dumping margins for South Korea's oil country tubular goods (OCTG) following a dispute with the US Court of International Trade's final ruling. Effective December 18, 2023, the adjustments impact key players in the industry.
Hyundai Steel, one of the major companies involved, saw a significant adjustment in its weighted average dumping margin. The margin was reassigned to 9.63%, marking a notable decrease from the previous 19.54%. Additionally, the dumping margins for non-examined companies AJU Besteel, Husteel, and NEXTEEL underwent a recalculation, resulting in a revised margin of 6.74%, down from the earlier 11.70%.
