According to the official report of the US government, US steel wire imports totaled about 48,000 tons in February, a decrease of 24.4% compared to the previous month and a decrease of 13% compared to the same period last year.
The import value was about US $ 33.5 million, a decrease of about US $ 10 million compared to last month and US$ 9 million compared to the same month of the previous year.
Among them, most of the wire imports were from Canada with about 22,400 tons, followed by Brazil (10,000 tons), Japan (9,000 tons) and Mexico (4,000 tons).
