On a weekly basis, production decreased by 0.2%. In the week ending March 8, 2025, production was 1,671,000 net tons, while the capacity utilization rate was recorded at 75.0%.
As of March 15, total year-to-date crude steel production was recorded at 17,517,000 net tons, with a capacity utilization rate of 74.4%. This represents a decrease of 1.3% compared to the 17,751,000 net tons produced in the same period of 2024, when the capacity utilization rate was recorded at 75.8%.
