According to data released by the U.S. Department of Commerce (USDOC), the United States exported approximately 11,100 tons of structural pipes in August 2024. This figure represents a 4.4% decrease from July, but a 13% increase compared to August of the previous year.
Canada emerged as the top destination for U.S. structural pipe exports, receiving about 6,100 tons. However, this volume reflects a 3.3% decline from the previous month, despite a significant year-on-year increase of 30%. Following Canada, Mexico ranked second with exports totaling around 4,700 tons, while shipments to other countries remained minimal.
