US steel imports increased m-o-m

US steel imports increased by 14.1%

In March this year, US steel imports totaled 2,372,638 tons, increased by 14.1% from February.

Imports from Canada ranked first

Imports from Canada amounted to about 599.453 million tons, Brazil 414.962 million tons, Mexico 396.249 tons, South Korea 169.237 tons and Japan 106.167 tons.

Import value increased on a monthly basis

Import value increased to $3.17 billion compared to February.
