US pipeline imports rose on a monthly basis

In April of this year, US imports of pipeline imports amounted to around 57,800 tons, an increase of 3% compared to March and a decrease of 7.6% compared to April of the previous year.

Imports from South Korea accounted for the largest share

Imports from South Korea were about 12,400 tons, from Mexico about 5,400 tons, from Italy about 5,300 tons, from Japan about 4,600 tons and from Germany about 4,400 tons.

Import value increased by 20.3% m/m

In this period, the value of imports increased by 20.3% mom and 17.9% yoy to approximately US$ 115 million.
