US extends anti-dumping duty on pipes from seven countries

The US Department of Commerce announced that it has decided to extend anti-dumping duties on pipe products from seven countries for another five years under two separate investigations.

A dumping margin of 57.72% was applied to small-diameter seamless pipes imported from Germany.

Duties for Thailand, Turkey and India remain unchanged since 2018

Duties on certain sizes of welded pipes from Thailand, Turkey and India remained the same as in 2018. The dumping margin for Thailand was 15.6%, for Turkey 23.12% and for India 87.93%.

Shipments from Brazil, Mexico, South Korea and Taiwan will be subject to duties

Shipments from Brazil, Mexico, South Korea and Taiwan will be subject to duties on certain sizes of welded round pipes made of non-alloy steel. The dumping margin for Brazil was set at 103.38%, for Mexico at 7.32%, for South Korea at 1.2% and for Taiwan at 27.65%.
