US crude steel production stood at 1.68 million net tons, down slightly by 0.9% on a weekly basis and up by 5.6% on an annual basis. The corresponding capacity utilization rate was recorded at 73.2% during this timeframe, marking a 0.7% decrease from the previous week but a 1.7% y/y increase.
As of November 11, adjusted year-to-date production for crude steel in the US reached around 77 million net tons, down by 0.6% y-o-y. The capacity utilization rate for the same period amounted to 75.8%, down by 2.3% from a year earlier.
