US CRC exports increase in October

According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported about 62,400 tonnes of cold rolled coil (CRC) in October this year, up slightly by 0.5% m-o-m and up 28% from the same month a year ago.

Among these, exports to Mexico accounted for the largest share with around 44,000 tonnes, down 7.1% m-o-m and up 33.4% y-o-y. Canada ranked second with around 18,000 tonnes, while exports to other countries did not show a notable increase.

During the period, the value of exports totalled approximately US$77 million, down 1.9% m-o-m and up 18.2% y-o-y.
