Imports of cold-rolled steel coils in June 2023 amounted to 101,053 tons, down 21.4% from the previous month and also down 25% from June 2022. The cost of the imports was at the level of $122.2 million against $151 million a month earlier and $214.8 million a year earlier.
The main suppliers of cold-rolled steel coils to the US in June this year were Canada - 48443 tons, Australia - 14582 tons, South Korea - 10463 tons, Great Britain - 6417 tons and Mexico - 5129 tons.
