The plant's coke-chemical production has a lot of positive experience in reducing the gassing of coke-oven battery doors by more than 45% compared to 2021 figures.
The implementation of measures to minimize the impact on the environment continues. A new gas collector has been installed at coke oven battery No. 1, collecting 100% of the gas. The remaining three operating batteries are also equipped with similar equipment that meets modern technological requirements. An aspiration system for coke sorting of batteries was purchased. Outdated small-scale mechanization mechanisms for cleaning doors and ramps have been replaced. The method of sealing chamber loading hatch covers has been improved. Gas outlet risers at KB-4 are equipped with a pneumatic sealing system. All-welded door frames are used. For the first time in the history of the plant, in the second half of 2023, the number of repaired coke chamber doors was increased to 40 pieces per month.
The plans are to continue their revision in the amount of up to 20 per month, to carry out end-to-end relaying of 19 piers on coke oven batteries No. 1,3,4, as well as replacement of three mechanized clarifiers. All these measures will give a positive environmental effect in the form of a further reduction in the environmental impact of emissions from the CCP technological process
