In March 2023, Ukrainian steel manufacturers exported 86.9 thousand tons of semi-finished goods, a 25.5% increase over the previous month. Export-related producer revenue climbed by 24.5% month over month, reaching $45.2 million.
Steel companies in Ukraine had a 19% decrease in revenue from the sale of semi-finished goods in March 2023 compared to March 2022. Exports fell by 8.7% in natural terms.
Ukraine exported 194.47 thousand tons of semi-finished goods worth $102.2 million between January and March 2023. When compared to the same period in 2022, steelmakers' revenue from the export of slabs and billets fell by 83.8%, while their product deliveries fell by 81.4%.
Poland, the Dominican Republic, and Bulgaria were the top importers of semi-finished goods from Ukraine.
