Valeriy Tkachev, Deputy Director of the Trade Department of Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ), announced that the number of iron ore wagons increased by 43.6% in March compared to January, reaching 210 units per day.
This growth continues the positive dynamics observed since the beginning of this year. In January, 126 wagons carrying iron ore were delivered per day, in February - 146.3 (+16.1% month-on-month) and in March - 210 (+43.5% month-on-month). Road transport delivered 1.262 million tonnes (37.9%).
