Due to the wars in Ukraine, steel production in January and February decreased significantly.
In the first settlement of this year, steel production in Ukraine decreased by 74% (817 thousand tons) compared to the same month last year.
On the other hand, those monitoring Azofsal and MMKI offices decreased by 85% (1,567,000 tons) to 284,000 tons.
In February, it decreased by 56% (532 thousand tons), while Azofsal and MMKI watchers decreased by 73% (1 million 139 thousand tons) to 424 thousand tons.
Steel production in Ukraine increased by 2.2 times (285 thousand tons) to 527 thousand tons in March compared to the same month last year and by 2 times (293 thousand tons) to 574 thousand tons in early April.
Compared to May 2022, steel production at the end of this year increased by 89% (275 thousand tons) to 583 thousand tons.
Ukraine's steel production in June housing increased from 294 thousand tons to 436 thousand tons, an increase of 49% compared to the same month of the previous year.
In February this year, steel production in Ukraine increased by 49% compared to the previous month, in March - by 24% compared to February, in April - by 9% compared to March, in late May - by 1.6% compared to April;
