Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK/TURKSTAT) announced the economic confidence index data for September. Accordingly, the economic confidence index increased by 1.3% compared to the previous month and rose to 95.4. In September, consumer confidence index increased by 5.1% to 71.5, real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index increased by 0.5% to 105.1, service sector confidence index decreased by 2% to 113, retail trade sector confidence index increased by 3% to 117, It's 7. In addition, according to a survey conducted among private sector enterprise managers, the confidence index of activities carried out in the construction sector in the last three months increased by 2.3% in September, reaching 97.3.
During the said period, the current order sub-index in the construction sector decreased by 1.9% to 81.9 points, and the total number of employees expectation sub-index in the next three months increased by 3.7% to 94.8 points. In the same month, sales price expectations in the next three months decreased by 0.7% and stood at 125.2.
Sectoral Confidence Indices range from 0 to 200, values above 100 indicate that the sector is optimistic, and values below 100 indicate that it is pessimistic.
