Türkiye's wire rod imports decreased by 54.5% in the January-October period

Through the information compiled by SteelRadar analystsfrom the Turkish Statistical Institute's (TUIK), Türkiye's wire rod imports in October 2024 declines by 26.5% compared to the same month of the previous year, from 35,966 tons to 26,438 tons.  Compared to the previous month, September, it increased by 151.3%.

In the January-October period total wire rod imports declined by 54.5% from 658,815 tons to 299,756 tons.

Malaysia was the largest supplier of wire rod to Türkiye in October, with 12,938 tons, followed by China 3,924 tons, Germany 2,696 tons, South Korea 2,260 tons, and the United Kingdom 2,652 tons.
