According to the information compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data, Türkiye's seamless pipe imports in May increased by 64.7% compared to the same month of the previous year, rising from 52,481 tons to 86,410 tons. This figure represents an increase of 88.9% compared to the previous month.
Total seamless pipe imports during the January-May period increased by 6.6% compared to the same period of the previous year, rising from 194,892 tons to 207,686 tons.
China leads the countries exporting seamless pipes to Türkiye with 70,592 tons, followed by Italy with 7,820 tons and Ukraine with 2,346 tons.
