According to the information compiled by SteelRadar analysts from Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data, Turkey's rebar exports in October 2023 decreased.
Rebar exports, which were 368,669 tons in October last year, decreased by 21.36% in the same month this year and by 28.89% compared to the previous month, decreasing to 290,061 tons.
When we look at the total export figure in the January-October period, the export figure, which was 4,916,206 tons in the 10-month period of last year, decreased by 42.83% to 2,810,223 tons in the same period of this year.
This significant decline in rebar exports reflects the dynamics in the sector and global economic impacts, revealing Turkey's difficulties in the metal sector and changes in market conditions.
