According to data compiled by SteelRadar analysts from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) and the Undersecretariat of Customs' preliminary foreign trade data, Türkiye's iron and steel import value in November increased by 24.4% yoy to USD 2.11 billion.
In this month, iron and steel import value ranked sixth in the list of products with the highest level of import value.
In the January-November period of this year, the value of imports of iron and steel products decreased by 4.8% yoy to 21.46 billion USD.
In the same month, the import value of iron or steel products ranked 15th in the list of the country's products with the highest level of import value.
