According to data compiled by SteelRadar analysts from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) and the Undersecretariat of Customs' preliminary foreign trade statistics, Turkey's iron and steel exports in November grew by 11.6% compared to the same month the previous year, amounting to 728.06 million USD.
In November, iron and steel exports were ranked ninth among the country's top exported products.
From January to November 2024, the value of iron and steel exports grew by 15.4% year-on-year, reaching 9.26 billion USD.
During the same month, the iron and steel export value was ranked eighth in the list of the country's highest export products.
In November 2024, the iron and steel export value dropped by 6.3% compared to November 2023, totaling 826.04 million USD. Meanwhile, for the first eleven months of the year, exports decreased by 2.1% compared to the same period last year, amounting to 8.95 billion USD.
