According to information compiled by SteelRadar analysts from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) and the Ministry of Customs and Trade's foreign trade preliminary data, Türkiye's iron and steel export value in June increased by 10.9% compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 862 thousand USD.
In the said month, iron and steel exports ranked fifth in the country's highest export value products list.
In the January-June period of this year, it increased by 19.4% compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 5 billion USD.
In the said month, iron or steel goods export value ranked 9th in the country's highest export value products list.
In June, iron or steel goods export value decreased by 15.2% compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 730.58 million USD, while in the first six months of the year, it decreased by 3.5% compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 4.80 billion USD.
