According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye exported 12,411 tons of ferroalloys in May 2024, a 31% increase from 9,477 tons in the same month last year. This figure represents an 89.74% increase from April this year.
Total ferroalloy exports in the January-May period reached 52,616 tons, an increase of 17.4% compared to 44,822 tons in the same period last year.
Algeria was the top destination for Türkiye's ferroalloy exports during this period, with 3,069 tons. Algeria was followed by the Netherlands with 1,871 tons and Japan with 1,758 tons.
