According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Türkiye's ferro alloy exports in August 2024 decreased by 57.3% year-on-year, from 20,802 tons to 8,889 tons.
This figure increased by 21.7% compared to the previous month, July.
Total ferro alloy exports in the January-August period increased by 1.2% year-on-year from 75,674 tons to 76,595 tons.
Algeria was the leading country to which Türkiye exported the most ferroalloy in the said period with 1,844 tons, followed by Japan with 1,219 tons and Slovenia with 1,170 tons.
