According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute ( TUIK), Türkiye's billet and bloom imports decreased by 17.67% in November compared to the same month of the previous year, but increased by 118.04% compared to the previous month to 226,133 tons.
On an annual basis, imports of billet and bloom, which were 2,264,873 tons in the January-November period of last year, increased by 27.12% to 2,879,281 tons in the same period of this year.
Last year, the highest imports were realized in June, while the lowest imports were recorded in March. This year, the highest imports were recorded in April, while the lowest imports were recorded in September.
