SteelRadar analysts calculated data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) and reported that Türkiye's billet and bloom exports decreased by 83.05 percent on an annual basis and 91.8 percent on a monthly basis to 1,152 tons in November, compared to the same month of the previous year.
Billet and bloom exports, which amounted to 6,793 tons in November last year, witnessed a significant decrease in the same period of this year. In November, exports were the record-lowest in 11 months.
As for total exports, exports of billet and bloom were 708,327 tons in the January-November period of last year, while this figure decreased by 80.22% to 140,133 tons in the comparable period of this year.
The highest exports in the same period of last year were recorded in April, while the lowest exports were recorded in November. In the same period of this year, exports were highest in September, while the lowest exports were recorded in November.
