Former Permanent Representative of the OECD, stating that Germany is considering importing hydrogen from Turkiye within the scope of improving its energy security, said, “In this, there is a report prepared by the German energy agency together with a Turkish company. Accordingly, if an expenditure of approximately 75 billion-120 billion dollars is made until 2050, this means an investment of 4 billion dollars every year. Then we see that a significant amount of green hydrogen can be produced in Turkiye and some of it can be exported to Germany. This is an important potential for Turkiye to meet its climate commitments.
