Turkish Exporters Assembly announced the establishment of Four Special Economic Zones by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

It was stated that the aim of the economic zones to be located in Riyadh, Jizan, Ras Al-Khair and King Abdullah Economic City is to increase both domestic and foreign direct investments by providing competitive conditions to global investors.

The article announced by the Turkish Exporters Assembly also included the following information:

"IUUs are defined as geographical areas where there will be different regulations from the legislation on economic, commercial and financial fields in effect in the country, and where advantageous conditions will be provided in investment, trade and employment, lower corporate tax application in IUUs, withholding tax and VAT exemption, customs taxes. It is stated that various advantages such as exempt machinery and raw material imports, establishment of companies with 100% foreign ownership, ease in company establishment procedures, flexibility in foreign employment and high quality infrastructure opportunities will be provided.
