Turkish Defense Industry started to use domestically produced armored steel

According to the statement of Turkish armored vehicle manufacturers, vehicles produced using domestic armor steel successfully perform their duties in nearly 50 countries, in many different climates and geographies. Armored land vehicles constitute the largest export item of Turkey's defense industry.

A new cooperation opportunity arises between domestic steel manufacturers and armored vehicle manufacturers in Turkey. Significant progress has been made with the efforts to produce high-quality steel for steel producers to be used in the defense industry.

Nurol Makina designs and manufactures unique systems for armored combat vehicles, armored personnel carriers and special-purpose platforms in the 4x4 segment, in cooperation with domestic steel manufacturers.

Nurol Makina, which has produced and used over 1600 vehicles for 20 countries to date, is preferred by countries all over the world. The company's product family includes EJDER TOMA, EJDER YALÇIN, EJDER KUNTER, ILGAZ and YÖRÜK.

Nurol Makina became a pioneer in the preference of domestic armor steel

Nurol Makina carried out a comprehensive study for the use of domestically produced steel in armored vehicles. Nurol Makina, which aims to produce vehicles using 100 percent domestic armor steel and thus contribute to both the Turkish defense industry and the country's economy by seriously increasing the domesticity rate, has started to use domestic armor steel in certain parts of the vehicles, both of which are under design and in production.

Nurol Makina, which took various samples from Miilux OY, the company that OYAK acquired to strengthen domestic production, carried out various tests, especially ballistic and blasting tests. In addition, studies were carried out on all production processes related to the product, and the necessary activities for the approval of the product were completed.
