The Turkish steel producers association announced the data for February 2023. Crude steel production decreased in Turkey.

Turkey's crude steel production decreased in February
In February 2023, Turkey's crude steel production was 2.1 million tons, a decrease of 28.9% compared to the same month last year. In the first 2 months of the year, production decreased by 23.1% to 4.7 million tons.
Final product consumption was 2.5 million tons in February, a decrease of 12% compared to the same month of 2022, and 5.5 million tons in the first 2 months of the year decreased by 7.7%
