Turkish Automotive Industry met with companies in America

10 automotive companies from Turkey participated in the "Automotive Sectoral Trade Delegation" program held in Atlanta, USA, with the support of the Ministry of Commerce. In the program organized by Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters' Association (OİB), important contacts were established between domestic and foreign companies.

Turkish Automotive Industry met with companies in America

The delegation, including Uludağ Exporters' Associations (UIB) Secretary General Mümin Karacakayalılar and OİB Accounting Member Müfit Karademirler, visited the companies in Atlanta. During the program, Turkish automotive manufacturers held bilateral business meetings with US importers and wholesalers located in and around Atlanta.

Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters' Association Chairman Baran Çelik said, "Our goal is to continue the increase in exports to the USA, which is our 7th largest export market, in 2022. In this respect, the delegation program was very productive."

OIB Chairman of the Board of Directors Baran Celik, whose views are given in the statement, stated that they signed a program that is beneficial for the members, and said, "Our automotive exports to the USA are close to 1.5 billion dollars, our exports to the supply industry are 900 million dollars. Our commercial vehicle exports are 400 million dollars, our passenger cars exports. Over 100 million dollars. Our goal is to continue the increase in exports to the USA, which is our 7th largest export market, in 2022. In this respect, the delegation program was very productive."
