According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's welded pipe exports increased by 38.9% year-on-year and 57.5% month-on-month in May 2024. Türkiye's welded (seamed) pipe exports in May 2024 increased by 38.9% compared to the same month of the previous year, rising from 148,511 tons to 206,284 tons.
This figure increased by 57.5% compared to the previous month, April.
During the January-May period, total welded pipe exports increased by 16.7% compared to the previous year, rising from 731,200 tons to 853,253 tons.
Among the countries to which Türkiye exported welded pipes in May, Romania topped the list with 40,584 tons, followed by the United States with 22,327 tons, and the United Kingdom with 11,801 tons.
