Turkey's welded pipe exports decreased in January-May period
According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), Turkey exported around 725,000 tons of welded pipes in the first five months of this year, down by 12% y-o-y.
According to the figures, the top three export destinations were Morocco (around 134,000 tons, up by 2,109% y/y), Romania (around 99,000 tons, down by 8.1% y/y) and the United Kingdom (around 54,000 tons, down by 44.5% y/y).
In May alone, Turkey's welded pipe exports were 148,000 tons, up by 1.5% on month and 16.5% on year. All in all, exports amounted to USD 156 million, up by 2.2% month-on-month and down 24% y-o-y.
