In the first ten months of this year, Turkey exported approximately 4.9 million tons of rebar, down 20.2% compared to the previous year. Export value fell 6.2 percent year on year to USD 3.6 billion.
Among them, exports to Israel had the largest share, down 4.9 percent year on year, at approximately 865,000 tons. Yemen and the USA ranked second and third with roughly 602,300 tons and 341,300 tons, down 19.4% year on year and up 52.4% year on year, respectively.
In October alone, Turkey's rebar exports amounted to approximately 373,200 tons, down 25.8 percent month on month and 40.4 percent year on year. This export amounted to US$ 253.4 million, down 25% month on month and 42% year on year.
