After the earthquake, while relief works in the region continue, producers mobilized for their staff and relatives. While the doors of the mills were opened for sheltering and basic needs this time, after the deep suffering, the work on employment protection and the needs in the region accelerated. Most importantly, they mobilized to the needs of the region, opened their factories, dining halls and lodgements to the earthquake victims, and sent their construction machinery to rescue works together with the operators. And they gave many more supports. Manufacturers related to these continued their support without advertising.
In other regions, iron and steel plants, which were not affected by the earthquake, provided technical support to their colleagues and sent technical teams, except for the aid they sent from Izmir and Istanbul and Karabük.
