The export unit value index decreased by 1.8 percent in August compared to the same month of the previous year. Within the index, there was a 1.2 percent decrease in food, beverages, and tobacco compared to the same month of the previous year. Raw materials (excluding fuel) decreased by 16 percent, fuels decreased by 19.9 percent, and manufacturing industry (excluding food, beverages, and tobacco) increased by 0.8 percent.
The export quantity index increased by 3.4 percent in August compared to the same month of the previous year. Within the index, there was a 9.4 percent increase in food, beverages, and tobacco compared to the same month of the previous year. Raw materials (excluding fuel) decreased by 7.2 percent, fuels increased by 28.3 percent, and manufacturing industry (excluding food, beverages, and tobacco) increased by 0.3 percent.
