Tosyalı Metalurji, owned by Tosyalı Holding, one of Türkiye's leading industrial giants, has acquired Baştuğ Metalurji, which has an annual long steel capacity of 2 million tons in Osmaniye and Hatay.

With this acquisition, it was announced that the liquid steel production capacity of the Tosyalı group will increase from 6 million tons to 8 million tons per year and will bring significant relief for many suppliers in the Osmaniye region who have a relationship with the company.

Tosyalı Holding is included in the list of Türkiye's 500 largest industrial enterprises, while the company has more than 40 facilities on 3 continents, an annual production capacity of nearly 15 million tons and approximately 15 thousand employees. With this acquisition, the company aims to significantly increase both its production capacity and market share.

Tosyalı Holding has acquired Baştuğ Metalurji as a whole and included it in the “Tosyalı Group of Companies” and revised the name Baştuğ to Tosyalı. The newly acquired factory is expected to start production at the beginning of the month.
