The crushing and screening plant for Tombador Iron Limited (ASX:TI1) was successfully put into operation, and ore was used to test the open-cut mine in Brazil. The factory, which has a design capacity of 400 tons per hour, is currently functioning, according to CEO Gabriel Oliva. In order to remove the cover and gain access to the ore projecting from the main ore body, the initial blast was also fired as part of the initial polishing procedures. The company will be able to operate the mine and sell its products in part and powder form to Trafigura and nearby steel mills after receiving the Mining Concession and Operating License.
