The USA Department of Commerce has decided to extend antidumping duties on certain types of corrosion resistant steel imported from India, Italy, China, Taiwan and South Korea for a new five-year period. They were first introduced in 2016.
According to the Ministry's decision, the weighted average dumping margin is 4.43% for Indian companies, 92.12% for Italian companies, 209.97% for Chinese companies, 10.34% for Taiwanese companies and 8.75% for Korean companies.
The ministry previously extended the effect of compensatory taxes set in 2016 for rolled products with anti-corrosion coating from India and South Korea.
